Filing for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a liquidation of your non-exempt assets. Your unsecured debt will be wiped away along with any IRS debt that is at least three years old. During the bankruptcy, we can also file a Motion to Avoid Lien to remove a civil judgment lien from the records.

We will assess your qualification for a Chapter 7 by determining whether you fit within the Means Test. Your household income must be under a designated amount in order to proceed with a Chapter 7. If you are over the amount, you have the option of a Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
